James and Rachel are very very welcoming and Lionel was extremely well equipped. We would really recommend camping via Belle Vie – the buses are great and are much admired by others when you are out and about. Lots of people asked to take photos with Lionel – even one time when we were just stopped at traffic lights! A great way to holiday and there are lots of great camp sites to choose from. Enjoy!
Thank you to James, Rachel and Charlie for an awesome holiday – we had such a fantastic week. James had put in a super-human effort to get Lionel ready for us. Their care and attention to us was second-to-none. Kicked the ass off any holiday we’ve been by giving us the chance to remind ourselves of what really matters. We had a great holiday thanks to Belle Vie! The camper was in great condition and presented really well – very retro! We were very sad to give it back. James gave us loads of great ideas on where to go, places to stay, etc – we went north to Dune de Pyla and south as far as San Sebastian. I highly recommend this as a holiday for anyone who loves something different and a bit of adventure!
highlight of 2011 - We had a fantastic holiday in Lionel the campervan in June 2011. The process of booking was simple, James was so helpful with regards to providing information and ideas and we had a brilliant week travelling up and down the beautiful coast. Would recommend it to anyone!

Used Audrey (a fine surf minibus) and Belle Vie’s base at the surf spot in Biscarrosse-plage for a boys weekend surf trip. James organised the whole weekend for us from airport transfers (VW style), accommodation in affordable mobile homes near the beach, surf school and board hire and also reserved and recommended some good eating and drinking establishments. When in France…! Would thoroughly recommend using them for a group holiday adventure and weekend gettaway. Tres bon.” Steve and friends London, 2011
